Family Run Architectural Reclamation Business
Founded by Horrie and Gene Womack in 1981, Womack Building Supplies have been operating their reclamation business in and around Norwich, Norfolk, Suffolk and East Anglia for over 30 years. They carry out reclamation of all kinds of building materials and supply private and commercial customers with everything from massive oak beams to tiny locks and keys.
The business is still family run and prides itself on offering a professional, efficient and friendly building reclamation service.
Womack Building Supplies now operates from two locations. The reclamation yard in Carleton Rode shown on the location map and their workshop in Norwich. In the workshop they manufacture doors from reclaimed timber to give an antique look to modern precision.
Womacks are proud of the way their reclamation service contributes to the environment. They have helped keep both old and new buildings traditional and in sympathy with their surroundings while being environmentally friendly.
You only have to look at a roof laid with reclaimed graded tiles or a barn conversion with salvaged oak beams to see the difference. A cottage with reclaimed timber doors will keep its look where modern replacements could destroy this. An extension to an old building should blend in if built with traditional old bricks but may be an eye sore if these are not used.
Womack building Supplies have a reputation for quality and service. They offer value for money to their customers, many of whom have returned time and again over the years.
